I've ordered a number of items from overseas firms over the Net using my
credit card, and have completely safe doing so. I've bought items ranging
from Miami (register over the Net! BrillianT!!!!) to videos from the US to
an X-Files mug from the UK. I've used both IBrowse and Voyager, though
Voyager is better cos it lets you know when you're on an SSL secure page.
I think you're worries about security are very valid, but I think purchases
ovr the Net are as secure, if not more so, than purchases over phone, or in
person.
So, yes, Julia, you can safely buy all that Suzanne Paul junk. :)

A fool-proof method for sculpting an elephant: first, get a huge
block of marble; then you chip away everything that doesn't look
like an elephant.
