Okay, I know I've only been living in Germany a short time now, and am a
foreigner, but I have until now never seen the word "Njet" being used in
German. Thanks for teaching me ;-)

Well, I read a report in a serious magazin the other day, that some credit
card companies do require you why you want to cancel the transaction. It used
the example of people subscribing to a porn internet site using their credit
card, where they would have to pay a "one time fee" of say DM 50,--, only to
find that this DM 50,-- is beeing booked off on a monthly basis. When
complaining (saying Njet) they have to say why Njet. In a case as described by
the mag, this would be pretty painful. As I neither have a credit card (my
wife won't let me have one ;-), nor visit porn-sites (even with V loading
pictures faster than IBrowse did, thanks for writing it), I can't confirm this
being true or not. If you want to buy something normal over the net, I
wouldn't see why I would object to telling the credit card company why I don't
want to pay it. But the article stated that all credit card companies should
refund money you didn't sign for, only some reserve the right to ask for a
reason.
