Yes, it all sound very nice, but how long can we actually wait? It happens
more and more often to me, that I encounter a site that uses JavaScript.
In my opinion we are getting very close to the time where a JavaScript
capable browser is a necessity - just like a table- or frames-capable
browser is a necessity today.

Recently I was ordering something in England, and the order form required
JavaScript :( I naturally switched to AWeb-II, but even AWeb-II wasn't
able to handle that (yes, more or more often I also encounters JavaScript
that AWeb-II chokes on), so I had to use ShapeShifter and Netscape. It
is naturally very nice that I can use ShapeShifter and Netscape on my
Amiga, but...

I can certainly understand that development of Voyager takes time since
Voyager is a one-man, sparetime project, and I certainly don't want Olli
to release som bugridden versions just because we can't wait. But in
general it is devastating for the Amiga, that we don't have software
with the same capabilities as other platforms. Four to six years ago I
think I had 15-20 friends that used Amigas - today I am the only one left,
because they have abandoned their Amiga due to lack of software -
especially Internet software. Today the only people I know that uses
Amigas I know through the net. But I guess it will be difficult for Olli
to have a JavaScript capable Voyager ready three years ago :-)
