The subject sais it all,
does Netscape support transparent backgrounds on PNG pictures ?
I have some problems on my homepage :
-Transparent background is ignored and displayed black. Pictures were
saved as brush with background color transparent flag set (PPaint)
-<body bgcolor="#000066"> is displayed with a white background on
Netscape 4.5 (PC) and correctly on Netscape 4.07 (Linux)
-<body bgcolor="#F4F4F4" text="#000000" vlink="#000080" background=
"gfx/back.png"> is displayed without any background image on
Netscape 4.5 (PC) and correctly with Netscape 4.07 (Linux)
Does this mean that I am doing someting wrong or does Netscape simply
suck ? How's IE doing ?
If you want to check *YOUR* browser feel free to look at :

It works good with Voyager and HTMLtidy doesn't complain.
