I am very often surprised at the way people act like novices. The Amiga is
not exactly a new computer, and most Amiga users have had their Amiga for
more or at least close to a decade. I have had mine since 1988. Why do they
act like they know nothing about the computer? I could understand it if
they had moved to Linux a couple of months back and still didn't know shit
about how it work. But these people have probably had their Amiga for five,
six, seven or more years.

The behaviour of memory resident runtime libraries and devices has been
known since day 1. It really shouldn't come as a surprise to people that
they have to flush the library/device in question or reboot the computer if
they for some reason can't flush the library. This is the way it has been
with the Amiga for years.

I could understand such questions if they had been using an Amiga for a few
months, but most of them have probably used their Amiga for years. Why do
they keep acting like novices?

And to make it even worse - and this is in my opinion getting close to
stupidity - why do we see the same bloody questions about libraries EVERY
time a new pre-release is released - and the same "flush your damn
libraries" which naturally solve the problems? Are Amiga users today old
dogs that can't learn new tricks?

Well, this is my opinion - flame me if you like.
