just try 128 colors
256 colors gets in the way of your serial port (i am not shure why) so 128
is the max.
without a graphic card or an new serial port. (or 16 colors in an older
machine)
Actually your serial port can run faster in productivity
than in pal or ntsc, so the optimun speed will be
producticity and 64 or 128 AND fblit.
