Toxico,

I won't argue the point of MUIs many features, nor the fact it reduced
the amount of time programmers have to spend developing their programs
now.  You might say it actually has made our programmers somewhat lazy
because of the many things it reduces you having to write now.

MUI has not been updated in many years now and it's age is showing as
well as it's size from programmers adding their things to it.  It has
gotten bloated and it has always been slow.  But like the IBMs that just
keep getting faster processors to overcome the bad programming & OS, so
did the Amiga to a point.  Those of us that have 060s don't notice the
slowness as a 020 would, but it is still there!  No, I think we need to
move away from MUI and either go to something else or start writing the
programs as they should be.
