This is not a revelation, Patrick. We have seen this happening at
a steadily increasing pace for the last couple of years. The
biggest problem is that some of the other browsers on other platforms
are doing "their own thing" as well. Having "one" browser is no
longer enough even on the MAC or Windows. The pages may look
ok with one, but look best with the other. Each group of people
developing seem to think "they" have the best solutions.
There is a site here in Chilliwack I would love to be able to
access, since they offer unlimited internet access for $19.95,
which is a better deal than I get with the one I am with which
gives me 120 hours for $24.95. Until I have a browser that will
get onto their site properly... I can get to the main screen,
and AWeb "almost" gets into the rest... I will not be able to
do anything like problem solving or whatever until I can get
into http://www.cwk.imag.net and go behind the "front page".
Others who have looked there with other browsers say their
JavaScript is all wrong, yet they claim they are using standard
programs to develop.
So, if places have screwy JS, what hope does V or IB or AW have?
What can I say?
