Actually only IE for Windows is fully up to date with JavaScript, style
sheets and DOMs. Much is promised for the next version of Netscape, but
it's not here yet. And the official DOM standard only covers objects so
far, not events such as mouse movements.
I don't know how far Olli has got with DHTML, but he isn't all that far
behind. Java is the big hole, but applets aren't all that common yet.
(They will be soon, now that Shout3D is out).
The "security" you mention is more a case of badly written tests of the
form
if IE do this
if Netscape do that
with no "else"
I notice that Voyager has a number of good features such as fast links
which the big two lack. I find that I prefer using it.
