Hello everybody,
I have found a tool to play RealAudio-Files on my Amiga. It's called RAPlay. There was
also an arexx-script which makes RAPlay to be able to stream RealAudio directly from
the web. I think, that everything is installed correctly (StreamRA.rx opens GUI &
shows the filesize of ram-file, AHI-AUDIO-device is mounted and working, etcetera) but
I don't hear anything.
Now my question is: Has somebody working this tool/script together with V ???
I've tried to download such ram-File, but I've got only a file from around 40-50bytes
of size (which is of course not the right size...), so I could'nt test RAPlay
"offline".
If somebody could tell me, where I can download such ram-file, it would help me too...
The website of RAPlay is http://csc.smsu.edu/~strauser/RA.html ,
the website from which I tried to stream RealAudio is
http://www.artbell.com/sound.html
and http://www.goldtoothdisplay.com/avpage.shtml.
There's also another rx-script for mpg-audio (StreamMpg.rx which uses mpega) which has
nearly the same requirements on the software side ...this one works fine here...
Regards
