I see from the plans that Olli has got TrueType working and Zapek has a
printer working.

So now maybe they can try to get printing working correctly:

1. Use only outline fonts for printing (CG, Type 1, or TrueType)
2. Render to a virtual screen with the resolution of the printer (e.g.
at 600dpi, an A4 page is about 4800 pixels wide)
3. Because of memory limitations, this is usually done in strips, each
strip being rendered and sent to prt: in turn.

ProPage is a good example of how it should be done - and that's a ten
year old program. The output from ProPage, ProDraw, PageStream, Draw
Studio, etc is just as good as from any Mac or PC program. In fact,
around 1989 ProPage was _better_ than Mac output.

It would be very nice to get the same print quality from Voyager as you
get from IE or Netscape. In fact, I would happily pay for an update that
had good printing.

I fear PostScript output is too much to hope for.
