No it doesn't! It messed up the Heretic 2 demo for me too.

I restarted the download a number of times and although the resulting file
size was correct, when looking at the archive in BurnGUI I appear to have
the start of the archive a number of times all tacked together.

I think it's probably a start all over again job.
