JFYI, not only in the UK, but also here in Germany
and I would bet also in other european countries
which belong to the NATO.

The facility in southern Germany was built during
the days of the 'cold war', and after 'Perestroika'
overwhelmed the 'warschauer pakt' the Americans
decided it might be usefull and clever to control
their allied partners and furthermore to do some
industrial espionage.

But this is getting far OT, so I'm gonna cut this here,
but not without givin' the hint:

 If you want privacy, 
 use Pretty Good Privacy (2048 bit encryption) ;-))
