No offence Norbert, but this kind of attitude gets up my nose. I appreciate
that  you  don't like IE, but while it exists and propogates "non-standard"
tags/attributes then surely it's prudent for V3 to support those tags.

Especially as it's only a string  comparison  (the  required  code  already
exists)  then  I  would  say it would be absurd not to allow the use of the
middle atrribute.
