Hello,
at first i thought this page had crashed, but it its just
the background image 1x3 pixels. Surely on my 060 the screen update should not
be this slow, even with a small image which has to be tiles many many hundreds
of times. i have also noticed with recent betas, the slowness of screen
clears
to a background colour. it looks like a flood fill on a old art package :)
i know its not compiled with optmising, but things like this were instant
on voyager 3.2 (almost). onteh latest beta the stripes on the background also
display in different colour from voyager 3.2.
