remote network is 192.168.0.0. I've tried the hint in

Hi Alexander,

The first thing that I see is that the address assigned to your Shrew client adapter (tap0) is in the same network range (192.168.0.33/24) as the remote network (192.168.0.0/24). This usually does not work. Try using another subnet, for instance 192.168.2.0/24 for your VPN client IPs.
