Have try play with MTU? Have you use a Wireshark to sniff network traffic and check some difference between 3g and wifi?

One thing to check, if you edit your VPN profile and go to the “Phase 2” tab, what is “PFS Exchange” set to?  If it’s not set to “group 2,” try that.

 

Next steps are to enable diagnostic logging.

 

One last question, have you ever tried doing it over a cellular hotspot?  (WiFi to the phone)

you are right i forgot to give you more info.

 

The 3G connection is over a broadband device (modem) and is working great.

The wifi adapter has the filter driver enabled. I receive a "tunnel enabled" message then after 10 second "sessione terminated by gateway.

Hello guys 

 

Environment:

 

- Windows 8.1 64 bit enterprise

- Shrew Soft VPNclient 2.2.2

- Cisco ASA

 

I'm getting insane with this: if i connect to the internet using a 3G connection (broadband) it works like a charm and the vpn is correctly enstabilished.

At home, connecting to my access point, there is no way to connect over wifi. Alredy tried with other wifi hotspot (private and publics), no way.

 

I suspect there is someting win 8.1 related.

 

Anyone with this problem or hints?


Any help would be highly appreciated!
