hi I tried to compare vpp-ext-deps_26.02-1_amd64.deb vpp-ext-deps_26.02-3_amd64.deb in my system the results are different ls -la vpp-ext-deps_26.02*.deb -rw-r--r-- 1 mahdi255 mahdi255 78792392 Dec 9 02:34 vpp-ext-deps_26.02-1_amd64.deb -rw-r--r-- 1 mahdi255 mahdi255 86176334 Dec 9 02:24 vpp-ext-deps_26.02-3_amd64.deb in my system the side is a bit larger than the previous build what was your external build command also i have use diff the library files in both deb and i see no diff in size it's under 0.6MB so that's not the problem my best guess is that modprobe.d and libibverbs.d in etc path for both packages is different i think by fixing that the diff should be minimal
