Hi Jerome,
The release notes get generated and pushed in a gerrit change to the
stable release branch a few days before the release. It can then be
reviewed by all VPP community members (although typically it seems
like I'm the only one that reviews them). Then during the release
process, the release note gerrit change gets cherry-picked to master.
Please keep an eye on the stable/2610 branch [0] for the release notes
and review them before EOD on Tuesday Oct 27th.
Thanks,

Hi Andrew,
With VPP 26.10 due on October 28, could you please confirm that the libvnet
visibility notice will be included in your global release-notes commit,
as you mentioned on October 6?
The proposed text is available here:
- stable/2610:https://gerrit.fd.io/r/c/vpp/+/46881
- master:https://gerrit.fd.io/r/c/vpp/+/46808
It explains that 26.10 retains the current visibility behavior and 27.02
enables hidden visibility by default.
Thanks,
Jerome
