Yes, you can't do unix domain sockets between chroot()
environments... unless I'm missing something simple.  Maybe it can be
done if they have the same device/inode.



yes that works, I mount --bind my mysql servers unix domain socket into the file space used by my vserver and processes in the vserver can use it just fine.
