No, that doesn't work: The patches do not apply cleanly on Debian-patched
kernel sources.

On the other hand, what works is:
 - download the "vanilla" kernel and vserver patch,
 - "manually" patch the kernel,
 - then use the Debian kernel-package tools as usual, to create a package
   to be installed with "dpkg".
