Ubuntu (or maybe plain-Debian) has applied a patch that provides the same functionality, ie. changing the memory split. Only the split ratios are different from the patch included in Linux-VServer. This might mean that you can simply skip the whole hunk, but it might also mean that you need to manually check a lot of other hunks, as the implementations seems to differ a bit. I only glanced over the code, so I can't give any definite advice.
