I'm not on the pin_handler branch, but on the one in /trunk.

Should I be on the pin handler branch?

No, I don't I have only data/k/kdaaaaaa, or any permutation of ".[abAB]":

$ ls -al ~/Testing/data/k/kdaaaaaa*
-rwxr-xr-x  1 ldavis users 2073 2003-06-19 10:49 
/home/ldavis/Testing/data/k/kdaaaaaa

I don't know, but that is what is being attempted.
