And the six week vacation has come to an end. A few brutal "get into gear" weeks have followed at work, and I'm now ready to provide more utter nonsense to you folks again.

Six weeks, wow! Dream.... what can one do in six weeks of vacation ...

Very little, I assure you... it mostly involved endless transportations of the family to lake Siljan. Too dang hot to do anything useful.

* It would be nice to build a sort of a timeline that could be used to correct time fuzz. The XML files provide the general horizontal time flow. The labels should be used to provide vertical synchronization between items.

Be careful with the labels. Labels only mark a point in time, they can not be used in order to provide vertical glue. The timeline for all items must be intact in all phyiscal items in order to function correctly. The label itself does not help to fix the timeline.

Ah, yes, you are quite right on that one. What about when one labels an entire tree, does it update the clock during the process or can one find the labels with identical timestamps?

* A general time fuzz file could be used to provide corrections for rotten VssActions. I.e., when the action is read from the vss database, the "corrected" value is used instead.

What about an "overwrite" file. You could overwrite entires in the database with entries in this file. But it would be hard to maintain and only usefull for developers

Yesh, it could be useful to mail back a correction file to someone having problems with their database... Nice feature for version 3.0.

Cheers,
