Hi.While converting one project (reulting dump file > 5GB) with latest alpha I got too different result from SourceSafe. So, I did build the \Ken\restore-widetime branch and converted with that. Well, the result is MUCH better, but there are still couple of issues:
one file has missing body in SVN. There seems to be nothing special with that file: only one revision in VSS, and one label applied.
Also, there are 5 files which have 0 length is VSS database, but some body in SVN result.
Some warnings in log:16 "Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at Vss2Svn/ActionHandler.pm line 508."
Quite many "ERROR -- Could not open export file './_vss2svn/vssdata/RT/RTGAAAAA.18' at c:\TEMP\Kolibri_Vss2Svn\vss2svn.pl line 874" - maybe they correspond to 0-length check-ins?
also, many "ERROR -- FAILED with non-zero exit status 255at c:\TEMP\Kolibri_Vss2Svn\vss2svn.pl line 1115" - why doesn't it have any additional info?
It might of course be due my build of ssphys.exe, cause: ssphys help getthrows "Debug assertion failed!" in file c:\Program files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\Include\xstring Line: 173 (Bug in MS code?)
and ssphys validate pjbbaaaa WARNING: unknown combination of flags in the FileInfo record: 0x100 ssphys: could not read record at offset behind file size Try `ssphys --help` for more information (pjbbaaaa corresponds to the file empty in svn but having body in VSS)BTW, if You are interested, I can but together a short list how I was able to build vss2svn on WIN XP machine.
