I might even document the wubi install as well. It just seemed like I
would need to take my time over it, and I wasn't if I could make a
live cd install persist enough to do that. Wubi seems a good
compromise, as it's easy to get rid of those virtual drive images
afterwards or even turn them into permanent partitions.
Thanks a lot for the offer to help document, Robin. Not sure if you saw
my previous email that I've turned off anonymous edits on the wiki due
to a marked increase in wiki spam, and I'm planning to move the project
to Google Code instead. So if you are willing to help document the
process, then please log in to your Google/Gmail account and head here
to do so:

In fact, I'd greatly appreciate anyone's help in starting to migrate all
the wiki pages from this site over to Google Code. The wiki formatting
between Trac and Google are similar enough that just copying and pasting
the wiki code from one to the other will get most of the way there, and
a Replace All for a few formatting differences should get most of the rest.
After you move a page over to Google, please mark the old one as
read-only so I can track which ones are done. For anyone who would like
to help out but doesn't already have a login on PumaCode.org, email me
privately with a desired username and I'll set up a login. Or if you
don't want to bother with a login, you can get to the old wiki code via
the "Plain Text" link at the bottom of each page, then email the list
with the pages you move and I'll set them read-only.
I'll eventually add a redirect or something to get people to the new
site once all pages are migrated, in case specific wiki pages are linked
somewhere else.
thanks,
toby
