Thanks Gavin. I removed the blt, itcl, tix and active tcl, and did a reinstallation of active tcl. Then I changed the lib_itcl.tcl file in the vtcl/lib directory to remove the package version. Running vtcl shows the iwidgets but not the blt and tix widgets.
