I just tried and everything went right... I use a Power Macintosh
with a System 7.5.3 version...

check these :
- are you using Tcl/Tk v8.0a2 ?
- did you unpack the vtcl distribution correctly (or without
errors) (especially pictures as they're the only binary files) ?
that's all I can think of at the moment...
