I am a new user of Visual Tcl and I would like to congratulate you about
this program. Currently, I am using it to develop a user interface under
Linux to order an optical experiment.
I would just make a few remark to help you enhance vtcl
1) an implementation of a step-by-step debugger would be... really
appreciable
2) syntax highlighting would be (though less) really useful also
though these two may be heavy to implement and eager in resources that
may slow down VTCL editing mode
Easier to implement :
3) multiple selection of widgets in a top level level window to
rearrange them quickly, and/or copy/paste quickly
4) the ability to copy widgets from one frame to another (or from one
top-level window to another one)
5) about Command Console : the ability to sent and test several lines of
code instead just only one, and the ability to modify them afterwards
6) the ability to change the name of the desired widgets after they are
created
7) Maybe a little bug : I found that the first line of my "widget
Bindings -> Command" was automatically shifted
8) the possibility to manage a multi-files project, for programming
clarity and to easily import new functions.
I hope these little remarks will help you in your really good job.
