Wish I could help but I don't know what causes this and
have not been able to reproduce this defect reliably.  I have
a feeling is that it has something to do with having too many
bindings windows up at the same time - I have to stress that
this is only a _feeling_ .

I just want to log that I have experienced this as well on
vt-1.10 and I will report something as soon as the failure 
criteria becomes a recognizable pattern.

Luckily the lost bindings were only 10 or 15 lines in
length, so rethinking and retyping was not a big problem.  
Large products would cause me some real grief though. 

Recommendation: 
        Backups should always be a done frequently during 
        development.  vtcl is still very much beta so
        backups should be done even more frequently than
        frequently.  :)
        (I learned this early on in my career.)

Anyone else run into this "bindings gone missing" defect?
