We applaud your courage in making a film that examines how the
Bush administration used the 9/11 tragedy to push its
destructive agenda in the Middle East.
As Jews and allies, we the undersigned ask you to make your next
film about the special relationship between the US and Israel.
As you know, a history of massive US aid has funded Israel's
brutal 37-year occupation, resulting in the deaths and injuries
of thousands of Palestinians and Israelis.
We believe that only you can effectively show how successive US
administrations, arms makers, the Christian fundamentalist
right, and right-wing Jewish hawks who incorrectly claim to
speak for the Jewish people, have all pushed for policies
detrimental to stability and peace throughout the Middle East
and the West.
