Friends,

A very important new group and site - please subscribe (info below), and help spread awareness about the importance of supporting Nader's campaign and break out of a two-party system where both parties are hopelessly pro-Israeli.

The Arab-American community has been shunned by both the Democrats and Republicans and the ONLY way we can have any weight is by proving to these parties that there is a price for disregarding our interests (whether civil liberties or foreign policy).  The site includes information on Kerry's, Bush's, and Nader's positions regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.  Check it out at www.arabamericansfornader.org, spread the word, and please make sure to vote for Nader!

About Arab Americans For Nader

We are Arab-American volunteers who believe:
     •     Our voice is ignored and our votes are taken for granted
     •     Great potential exists in our community make a positive impact on the direction of our country
     •     We must take responsibility for organizing our community to act and not just talk
     •     We must empower our community in recognition that our destiny lies in our level of political power and that principles alone do not drive political decisions
     •     We must take responsibility for proving we can deliver either great benefit or great consequence to candidates for office based on their positions

Arab-Americans for Nader is endorsed by prominent Arab-Americans including:
     •     Albert Mokhiber, former President of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) – “Ralph Nader’s intellect, ethics and vision are simultaneously what this nation sorely needs and what his opponents wildly fear.”

     •     Dr. Elaine C. Hagopian, Professor Emerita of Sociology, Simmons College – “I endorse Arab-Americans for Nader in hopes that Nader can develop sufficient support to impact Kerry’s horrific position on the Middle East, especially Palestine and Iraq.”

     •     Dr. Naseer Aruri, Professor Emeitus, University of Massachusetts- “A significant percentage for a third ‘party’ candidate might just be the only way to let both parties know we can’t be taken for granted.”
