On Tuesday, Aug 17th, "Fresh Air" on National Public Radio carried the interview (originally touted for Monday) with James Bennett, the New York Times correspondent who recently ended a three-year assignment in the Jerusalem bureau.
The title of the show is "A Nation Unto Himself: Where Is Ariel Sharon Leading Israel?"

As usual, the Israeli "incursions," house demolitions, the wall, checkpoints, targeted assassinations, etc., get minimum nameless coverage (example: the "massacre in Lebanon" - mentioned in passing with no village names or numbers of innocent deaths), while suicide bombers get mentioned over and over again.
No mention of the destruction of agricultural fields nor confiscation of water sources nor the refuser movement either.
The Israeli "reason/excuse" for Israeli action is always incorporated into the question as if it were truth by the interviewer, one Dave Davies from the Philadelphia Daily News, substituting for the show's regular host, Terry Gross.
