I am using Vtun for over a year without no problem.
Currently I have 8 remote boxes tunnelled to my host with Vtun.

The only irritating thing is that each tunnel creates separate interface.

So the question is:
assuming the mode of the tunnels is the same is it possible to use the
only one tap (or tun) interface?

I know that currently it is not.
But I am wondering if it is possible to rewrite the code to handle many
tunnels with one tap (or tun) interface?

I dig a little bit in source code and at the first glance looks like all
the connection parameters held in host structure should allow to make
correct 'packet routing'.

Am I right or if not - what I am missing in my idea?
I am a programmer so I could try to rewrite the code myself but I need
information if there are the other limitations which doesn't allow to
achieve above?

Dorian
