You can assign a vif to a bridge group using the bridge-group parameter. Under the current vyatta release IP addresses really should not be assigned to the member interfaces/vifs of the bridge group. And we unfortunately didn't include IP addressing on the bridge group interface itself so everything is un-numbered right now.
