Any chance this bug might get fixed before a major release?

It makes the GTK UI unusable for me for any commercial website I have 
tested it against yet.
If no one else is interested I guess I'll have to stop whingeing and 
roll up my sleeves and see what I can do. Just been too swamped with 
paying work and family interuptions since Nov., and it hasn't let up yet...
