Hi,
I think that it can be an idea, in order to supports Windows platform, to
provide a Cygwin bundle in the same way than ARACHNI:
"Arachni does not yet run natively on Windows systems, however until that
day comes you can download a pre-configured Cygwin environment containing
Arachni and its dependencies.
All you need to do is download the self-extracting archive (SHA1), select a
directory for it, open it up and then execute the Cygwin batch file.
You will then be presented with a Bash shell, after that you'll be able to
use Arachni as if you were on a Linux system."

What do you think ?
PS : I have tried to install (without sucess) W3AF threading2 branch on
Windows 7 and it has been a nightmare because I cannot found all
dependencies for Windows platform :o(
