No modern Linux ships with 2.5. At least Samurai WTF and Web Security
Dojo run w3af under 2.6. No Ubuntu since 9.10 (that's the October 2009
release for those who may not speak Ubuntu release versions ;-)
supports 2.5. The choices are now 2.6, 2.7, or 3.1. Debian unstable and
testing have also dropped 2.5.

(strangely enough, Samurai is still based on 9.04, has python2.5
installed, but still runs w3af as python2.6.)

I appreciate the desire to not make the jump at the moment, but a large
number of people are running under 2.6 whether it's supported or not.

I think I've been making this argument for a year at least, including
offers to be the official 2.6 tester if desired(my python is rubbish,
but my skill at breaking things is quite good ;-).. How long until 2.6
is supported?
