Yep, we're aware of that and we already have a ticket to fix this
in the next sprint(s).

The idea is to migrate directly to 2.7 , as specified here [0].
Due to popular request, I moved [0] to the next sprint, which starts
next week. If everything goes as planned, we should have a working [1]
version of w3af with python 2.7 by the end of the sprint (2 weeks
after monday).
