Hey JJ,
Sounds like you have a right to be annoyed. Sadly, this type of behavior is
all too common (especially on the Sky). There's a fine line between being
assertive and being rude. Technically, if you're not "in" the run then he
has the right to fish it again. But he's gotta be pretty inconsiderate to
re-fish a run he's already been first through knowing someone's waiting
their turn to fish it.
Thing have been tough on the Sky, especially lately with the low clear
water. At least you've hooked a couple fish- I've heard stories from good
rods that haven't even had that!
BTW, the current CFS on the Sky is over 6000 @ Goldbar!
Hasta,
Brian

Subject: Report and what would you do
OK I decided to hit the Sky on Sunday afternoon for 5 hours or so. I didn't
have high hopes with the clear water and bright sunny sky but hey it was
better then sitting at home. Well long story short. I fished for 5 hours
and nothing. The Sky hasn't been too kind to me this winter. 2 fish
briefly hooked. One at the end of February in IRS and one last Sunday
evening at the head of Buck Island.
Has anyone done any good on the sky.
Well here is my what would you do. I got a little bent on Sunday on the
river and I want to know if I have the right to be. I walked into IRS since
there was no one there when I drove up but by the time that I got there a
pontoon boat had come in. Fair enough if I get beat to a run I get beat.
The guy was sitting just down below the riffle so I went way up high to give
him plenty of room and started fishing. I worked down and he worked down.
He got to the bottom of the run and started to walk back up so thought OK I
will make my pass now. To my surprise he jumped back in the run below me in
the riffle. I follow the idea that I don't own the run if I was there
first. I work my way down the run and then when done I wait my turn to take
another pass. This guy seemed to think that he owned the run. Am I wrong
here. I decided that I have enough stress in my life so I didn't confront
him and went on down river.
Tight lines
JJ
