On the subject of Sierra reels. I bought a 10-11 2 weeks ago for my spey rod
and have used it 4 days since then, and I'm very impressed (although I
haven't caught a fish on it yet). It replaced a Plugher (spell?) that was
too small and had a poor drag. The Okuma reel is wider and bigger in dia.
and has a hell of a drag. I did shim the P? but it was only moderately
better.
