Thanks for the help Mike.  As I fish these over the next few weeks I'll
report back and return the favor.  And thanks for the archive tip Kent.  I
see Mike's detailed Aeneas Lake report there.  This listserv has always been
very helpful and I appreciate the members efforts.

Incidentally, I agree with Mike's take on Blue Lake (by the way it was low
on the opener last year too.)  It's really sad to see this lake go from a
sleeper three or four years ago to Chopaka II now.  The first time I fished
Chopaka was 16 years ago on the opener (Aeneas was too crowded.)  There were
about 7 other people there and we caught fish until our arms were sore by
dredging with Wooly Buggers (I'd never heard of a chironomid or
callibaetis.)  Now your best chance of catching one of these wary fish with
a Wooly Bugger is if he doesn't see it coming and you hook him in the ass.
I used to fish there 15 to 20 days a year.  I haven't been back in 3 years.
The lake is big enough you could still find a spot more or less to yourself.
The same thing couldn't be said for a camping spot.
