Fished Corral Lake with my friend Dan yesterday from about 10:30 to 2 pm,
and the adjacent Blythe Lake from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Weather was very nice in the morning, becoming blustery and cloudy,
threatening rain, in the afternoon. A good chironimid hatch on Corral
happened in the morning. In the afternoon, on Blythe, a fair hatch of
Callibaetis happened. A few damsels showed themselves throughout the day,
most of them on Blythe.

The fishing was good, but the catching was awful. I caught a little 6"
rainbow right away in the morning, and didn't get another bump all day. Dan
had one hit, and that was all. Bummer. When we finished with Blythe at 4
pm, we contemplated finishing out the last daylight hours at one of the
other nearby Seep Lakes, but called it a 'bad karma' day, and headed for
Ellensburg for pizza and beer.
