Hi all,
Hit the Cispus this weekend. The Cispus was flowing to hot to wade to most
of the holding spots but Iron Creek where it flows in to the Cispus was
incredible. The creek hits the river at 90 degrees and creates some major
eddies that were holding 9"-15" rainbows full of fire. Nymphs and Wooly
Buggers(thanks Ed-Luckyboy) with a splash of red were the ticket.
Fortunately the dozen I caught were gentle on their lips and released.
Rigged my 6 and 8 year old sons with a Nymph and had a great campfire
dinner on theirs Sat. night!!(they were about as proud as I was of them)
Going to hit the Yakima Sat. between Easton and Ellensburg, anyone have any
recent feedback or hot spots?
