jigs and fly rods

I guess I need to add as long as it is a fly with the weight built in. I
believe it is legal to build your fly on a jig hook. If it is a molded
lead jig then it would be illegal. 
I think that most of the bobber fly gurus tie there own "jigs".
The only way I see to make it illegal would be no weight at all added to
the fly. I think some old timers tried that a few years ago and were
unsuccessful.
