I fished the Icicle River/Creek last weekend around 10 miles upriver from Leavenworth (mile or so past the "Eight Mile Campground"). Lots of trout to say the least. Most are small (6 to 8 in.), but every now and then you'll pick up a 10 or 11 incher. All of mine were caught on number 12 orange stimulators, goddards caddis, irresistibles, etc. Anything that floats good and can be seen in the swirling water. The water is still a little high but is wadable in spots. Fished the eddies behind large boulders, in particular those further out in the middle. Fishing from the bank can be tough at times and I lost a lot of flies in the brush. All in all had a good time and caught quite a few fish, along with beautiful scenery. Jeff
