I haven't tried any Talon blanks yet so I can't comment on them. They
generally have a good reputation. They are pricey and that puts them in the
higher end in terms of price.

The company you're thinking of is Angler's Workshop and yes, they are
located in Woodland Park. They are very good, though not for Loomis
blanks - the owner had a disagreement years ago with Gary Loomis and....
They are one of my top suppliers. Several of their house brand blanks are
made by Talon and some by Pac Bay. That doesn't always mean that they are
equivalents of either.
