Mike, I've been using, and very happy with a Blank from an outfit in New
York. Hook & Hackle. There IM6, Green Blanks are Made for them by Loomis or
Pac Bay. There prices are very reasonable and they cast better than a
comparable Loomis. There made to H&H's specifications and they cast like a
Sage RPL or Sage SP, both not made anymore by Sage and they have not
improved any over them. I agree with the Gentleman that said he gets rid of
the 'Do it for free folks' I just show them the door they came in on or make
the price so high they start talking to themselves. You'll get them at
first. You can get on the Web and look at what Hook & Hackle has to offer
(hookhack.com) there catalog is on line. Ijust started using them about a
year ago and I fined that they give alot of discounts - 10 to 20% on most of
there parts and 20% on your first order - I've delt with most of the
suppliers and like them best. We also have a good source at Lake Stevens
with Greg. Gregs Custom rods 425-335-1391. Greg will work with you also.
Nice young man with a shop thats just for rod building 'stuff'. Teaches kids
or just anyone. Have a good one, George
