I will be in Anchorage on Labor Day weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations for good guides in the Anchorage area? Do I even need a guide? Is there good bank access along the Kenai? Also, what's running that time of year? Steelhead? Silvers? Kings? Please excuse my ignorance but I've never been to Alaska. Thanks, Jeff Mix P.S. I'm a little ashamed of myself and will probably regret telling everyone this but here goes... I'll be regressing a little tomorrow. I'm going on a guided trip tomorrow on either the Lewis or the Cowlitz for summer runs. It will be a gear chucking, egg slinging show. However, tonight we'll be trying our luck with our fly rods at the boat launch with some wakers, etc. before the sun goes down.
