Sean,
Both the Avid Angler and Swede's are excellent fly
shops and provide excellent service.
Howwever, if you are interested in inexpensive, group
fly casting instruction by FFF Certified Casting
Instructors (one is certified as a "Master Caster"!),
you might be interested in this: later this year or
next Spring, the Washington Fly Fishing Club (WFFC)
will be giving fly casting lessons at Green Lake in
Seattle.
If interested, email me directly off-line and I will
get you more info.
Also, each Winter/early Spring, the Evergreen Fly
Fishing Club (EFFC) in Everett holds inexpensive fly
tying classes. Again, if interested, I can get you
more info.
Tight Lines and Welcome.
